Big oaks, maples and poplars removed in organized sections by a crew that has the gear and the experience for heavy wood.
A mature tree can weigh many tons, and a single section of trunk can be heavier than a car. The scale changes everything about how the work is done. Large tree removal is about managing weight, balance and the space around the tree, not about brute force.
We study the tree before we climb it. A Certified Arborist checks the crown, the branch unions, the trunk and the base, and chooses rigging points that can hold the load. The crew lowers branches and sections under control with ropes, friction devices and, when needed, a crane, so the heavy wood goes where we send it.
Big wood needs proper rigging. We use lowering devices that absorb the shock and distribute the load, and we size ropes, slings and anchor points for the weight we expect. Underestimating weight is how accidents happen.
Big trees are often near houses, fences, pools and power lines. We map the drop and lowering zones, protect surfaces and decide which sections can be lowered and which must be lifted out.
Large trees produce a lot of material. We cut logs to a size that can be moved, chip the brush and haul it away. If the trunk wood is valuable, we can leave logs for milling or firewood.
A big tree in a small yard is a puzzle. We look for rigging points, drop zones and the safest way to remove each piece. Often the answer is a crane, or a combination of a climber and a bucket truck, with a clear plan for access.
Our crews work with big trees every week.
Cranes, bucket trucks and rigging.
Zones mapped and surfaces guarded.
No surprises on the day.
Logs left for milling or firewood on request.
Teams sized to the tree.

Yes. We can leave logs cut to length, or help you find a miller if the wood is worth it.
Unless you ask for grinding, the stump is cut low. We can grind it in the same visit.
We use mats and plan equipment paths. Heavy loads can still mark soft ground, and we tell you what to expect.
